The 4th Annual International Mass Timber Conference will take place March 19-21, 2019 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland Oregon. The largest gathering of industry professionals of its kind, IMTC is the premier source for the latest news and innovative thinking on mass timber manufacturing and residential and commercial construction. IMTC 2019 will feature over 70 industry speakers, plus over 70 exhibitors, and attendance from around the world representing timber, lumber, construction and designer/architect professionals exploring the latest innovations in cross-laminated timber (CLT), nail-laminated timber, glulam beams and panels, mass plywood panels, dowel-laminated timber, and laminated veneer lumber. The conference will also feature two separate mass timber building tours of local projects.

Rhomberg, a Master Builder and Civil Engineer, is managing director of Rhomberg Holding GmbH —now in the fourth generation— and in charge of the internationally active Rhomberg Group, which has its headquarters in Bregenz, Austria.
After graduating in engineering at Vienna Technical University Hubert worked for the construction company Strabag in Linz and Vienna for three years before, in 1998, joining his family’s company as Manager of the Civil Engineering department and in charge of developing the Railway Technology division. In addition, he took a postgraduate course in Company Management at the University of St. Gallen. Hubert actively promotes research projects (BRIX, House of the Future, LifeCycleTower) and gives public lectures on the subjects of resource productivity, mobility, and sustainable company management. In 2015 he published his book “Bauen 4.0—From the Ego to the Lego principle”.
